厦门大学特聘教授,国家“千人计划”特聘专家、博士生导师。现任新能源汽车动力电源技术国家地方联合工程实验室(厦门大学)主任、电化学技术教育部工程研究中心主任、福建省新能源汽车动力电池及储能关键材料工程实验室主任等职。社会兼职包括,国家重点研发计划可再生能源与氢能专项专家组成员、科技部国家高技术研究发展计划先进能源领域主题专家、教育部科学技术委员会能源与交通学部委员、国家外专局特聘专家、中国电化学学会化学电源领域委员、中国化学与物理电源行业协会理事等。

研究兴趣:储能材料设计、合成及产业化;高性能锂离子电池及其电极的设计;锂离子电池用电解液和关联添加剂的开发;锂离子电池的生产工艺的开发;电动汽车用大型锂离子电池及新电池体系的研发、燃料电池等。
