嘉宾简介:

Liming Zhang(张立明教授),现任美国UCSB教授。2003年于密歇根大学获博士学位,2003-2005年于芝加哥大学从事博士后研究。2008 Amgen Young Investigator’s Award,2008 NSF CAREER Award,2009 CAPA Distinguished Junior Faculty Award,2009 Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellow,2014年入选Elsevier高被引学者。

报告摘要:
This talk will discuss the recent developments in our lab on three areas of homogeneous gold catalysis, all of which employ π systems such as alkynes or allenes as substrates. They are: a) insertions into unactivated C-H bonds by in-situ generated acceptor/acyl gold carbenes via oxidative gold catalysis; b) insertions into unactivated C-H bonds by reactive gold vinylidene intermediates en route to versatile 2-bromocyclopentenones; c) the development of new bifunctional phosphine ligands specifically designed for homogeneous gold catalysis and their applications in novel and/or highly efficient gold catalysis.
