Under the great help and sponsorship of the iChEM and the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of XMU, the 3rd International Colloids Conference – Colloids & Energy organized by Elsevier Ltd. was finished successfully on April 24, 2013. One of the iChEM Directors, Dongyuan Zhao, and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the University of Queensland of Australia, Max Lu, are Co-Chairs of the conference. The organizing committee includes some iChEM members, Prof. Zhongqun Tian, Lansun Zheng, Zhaoxiong Xie, Ye Wang and Nanfeng Zheng. The conference invited some world-leading scientists for presentations, and also held seminars for scientific discussions and interactions.  

 

 

The International Colloids Conference is organized by Elsevier’s Journal of Colloids and Interface Science. The first two Colloids conferences with topics of Colloids & Materials, and Colloids & Nanomedicine, were both held successfully in Amsterdam, Netherlands in the year of 2011 and 2012. This time the conference focuses on Colloids & Energy, communicates research at the frontiers of sustainable energy and interfacial materials, and covers topics in colloids and materials for sustainable energy generation, distribution, storage and systems.
