The 27th Chinese Chemical Society Congress(CCS Congress) was held from June 20 to June 23, 2010 at Xiamen University, China.
The congress consisted of 18 scientific subjects, ranging from classical disciplines of chemistry to supramolecular chemistry, nano
science & technology, energy, environment and chemical Biology, and three forums and several exhibitions.
More than 3500 chemists and graduate students attended the CCS congress. Delegations of the American Chemical Society, Japanese Chemical Society, Royal Society of Chemistry, and German Chemical Society joined the congress. The congress include 3074 associate abstracts and 1964 posters . 6 plenary lectures, 499 invited lectures ,and 604 oral presentations.
During the congress, we also hosted Federation of Asian Chemical Societies, The 57th Executive Council Meeting(FACS EXCO),Signing Ceremony of Cooperation Agreement Between CCS and ACS, Signing Ceremony of Cooperation Agreement Between CCS and RSC, the board meeting of the journal of Chem. Soc. Rev. of the Royal Society of Chemistry.ect.
