中国微生物学会生物技术过程模型化与控制专业委员会副主任委员。近五年主持国家自然科学基金重点项目1项、联合基金重点项目1项、面上项目2项,作为项目骨干参与国家科技部 “973”项目、重点研发计划、福建省科技重大专项等3项。在Journal of the American Chemical SocietyMetabolic EngineeringEnvironmental Science & TechnologyAIChE Journal等化工、环境类学术期刊上共发表SCI论文100余篇,授权美国发明专利1件,中国发明专利20余件。目前任化工与生工领域重要SCI期刊Microb Cell Fact副主编、J Appl Microbiol编委。
